I am a young lady with a love of the natural world and of stories well told.
I grew up in the foothills of Tennessee’s Smoky Mountains, where I frisked around in an ankle-length calico skirt and drew chalk maps of the forest behind my house. Gradually, I drifted west—first for college and then to work as a research assistant in a biology lab at Vanderbilt University.
Recently, my life’s road map has veered south. I’m living in Florianopolis, Brazil with my newlywed husband. I work from home as a freelance writer, and I find the work very fulfilling! I love meeting new clients and learning how to adapt my writing to suit their needs. You can check out my freelance profile here.
In addition to my freelance work, I am preparing to release my debut novel, Eleanor. I’m very excited to hold my book, smell my book, and maybe even hear from a few of you about the messages you discover between its pages.
