I am a young lady with a love of the natural world and of stories well told.

I grew up in the foothills of Tennessee’s Smoky Mountains, where I ran around in a calico skirt and drew maps of the forest behind my house. Gradually I drifted west, first for college and then to work in a biology lab at Vanderbilt University.

More recently, my life’s road map has veered south. I lived in Florianopolis, Brazil for a year, working as a freelance content writer, and I now live in Key Largo, working to help restore coral reefs.

I released my debut novel, Eleanor and the Impossible, in the fall of 2017I’m very excited to hold my book, smell my book, and maybe even hear from a few of you about the messages you discover between its pages.
